FARMER CITY, Ill. -- The Knights and Lady Knights, led by medalists Mason Potts and Amber Tsevelekos, defeated the Raiders by scores of 178-205 and 203-243, respectively.
After medaling in his previous golf outing at Gibson City, Potts took first place among individual golfers at the Woodlawn Country Club with a score of 42. He finished off his day by sinking a long putt on the No. 2 hole.
On the girls' side, Tsevelekos medaled with a score of 44.
Austin Maxwell teed off alongside Potts and finished his day with a score of 43.
"Our shots could have came out better, but I think we did all right," Maxwell said.
C.J. Bishop and Will Duggins contributed to the boys team with scores of 46 and 47, respectively. Justin Jamison also scored a 47.
Kelsey Baker was second among the Blue Ridge girls team with a score of 47. Megan Tsevelekos and Jacquelyn O'Neal ended the day scoring 53 and 59, respectively.
The boys golf team will take its 7-3 record to Ridgeview on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The girls (4-5) will travel to Monticello on Wednesday to take on the Sages at 4 p.m.
